1. The press is small, you can only make 1-2 cups of coffee. Larger vessels encourage coffee sitting in grinds for too long. This can make the coffee bitter and astringent.
2. This press has a fine screen and rubber gasket. Some presses have a large wire mesh to keep the coffee out which doesn't work very well. The TIMEMORE has a fine screen is surrounded by a rubber gasket that helps keep the silt out of your coffee.
